Mamko, the modern griot and ambassador of the kora, is a Franco-Guinean artist whose music celebrates the richness of traditional African heritage.

Mamko, ambassador of the kora to the world, is the younger brother of Ba Cissoko, a renowned master of this traditional African instrument. In search of a modern sound while paying homage to his roots, Mamko has just released his latest track "KAYIRA" in collaboration with the talented Aidy Bonheur, which has been available on all streaming platforms since February 21, 2025. He has just performed in an exceptional concert at the Salon d'Honneur of the Pavillon Vendôme in Clichy, highlighting his quartet, Mamko Jazz. This concert was a memorable moment, combining the energy of the kora and jazz sounds for a unique musical experience.

With his passion for music, Mamko is also preparing an electro remix of "KAYIRA" to be released on April 25, 2025, in collaboration with Guinean artist Lil Sacko. His creativity is fueled by various collaborations with numerous artists, including Jean Phillip Audin, who fuses kora with classical music, as well as Annabelle Brgnt, pianist on electro music. In addition, he regularly works with DJ Jo of Maana Music to promote electro kora music.

Mamko does not limit himself to the stage; he aspires to elevate the kora to new heights, striving to improve its visibility on the international music scene.
