BiographY

Babet is a violinist, composer and singer since 1997 in the French rock band Dionysos, led by the singer, writer and director Mathias Malzieu. In parallel with her career in the band, she also wrote and composed three solo albums: “Drôle d'oiseau”, “Piano monstre” and “la Promesse”. For Irina Brook, daughter of the famous Peter Brook, she left Montpellier for Paris and became Wendy, the lead role in the adaptation of Peter Pan where she will sing, play her magic violin and discover acrobatics and the stage as an actress. She returns with a radiant voice and dreamy mood, an eye on the world, in love and always free for a new adventure outside of her band. On stage we always hear her romantic and dense poetic writing, her fervent violin, her acoustic guitar and her warm singing. The singer performs the songs of these three albums alone with a few surprises and will honor her heart instrument, her violin.

Alongside the Dionysos adventure, Babet is writing her first adventure novel, for which she will be giving a special musical reading. Come and discover the adventures of Hilaire and Ansu, the magic donkey! An epic that the singer and violinist has constructed as an initiatory quest set in Antiquity. Rome, Cairo, Luxor...
